Weapon arrange based on the designs of the Omega Weapon
・About the model
I've always wanted to make an organic blade with a mech looking grip, because that's what I always dreamed of.
When I saw the designs for this weapon, I realised how nice the colour balance was and started on my first personal project in 5 years.
~Arrange points~
Firstly, I arranged the general balance, the groove mould into a way I preferred.
I adjusted the brightness of the mould until I was pleased with the blaade.
With the many grooves, it's a design that you can enjoy the depth through the gradiation.
I held back on the general saturation to bring it down to a monotone feel.
~ When I actually used the original design to sketch up ~
※Around the grip I removed the moving parts for simplicity, and tried to focus on the form of the blade itself.
※In some parts the etching was way too small to figure out from the design images, so I used my imagination to fill them up.
This is how it looks in the design
Monotone (Finished)
I realised how much I like calm and dark colours while I was doing this.
At some point I also want to make the stand for this.
※Although the stand would take longer and cost more, so I'm not sure when I can get to it.
