From Murasama blade with a lightweight aluminium sword blade (this model is a modified version of a commercially available imitation sword)
I tried to paint the lightweight aluminium blade as much as I could to turn it into a stylish red sword.
But, as I thought, painting a metallic sword blade is difficult. No matter what, the paint coating wears off when I resheath the sword.
In the case of paint coating, adjusting subtle colour changes seems to be difficult, so given the shop's currently available technology and techniques,
・Do I put an emphasis on durability and not paint it, or
・Just like with this sword, paint it with an emphasis on the appearance?
It'll come to either one of these two options.
