Gunblade Revolver type model Ver. 3 Total Length 100cm w/ case (no toygun gimmick)

On this order, our customer asked us to

  • 1. Rebalance the blade's width to length ratio
  • 2. Make the blade inscriptions closer to older models
  • 3. Enlarge the edge of the grip panel
  • 4. Change the lion head on the chain

to which we decided on the following:
1. Rebalance the blade to make it look powerful but not too rustic
2. Improve while using older designs as a base
3. Enlarge the edge, and make the cross section a lot rounder so it is easier to grasp
4. Remove the cross and shorten the chain to balance out the smaller lion head

Furthermore, we made the following changes:


  • - Paint over previously exposed metal to make it look closer to the real blade
  • - Change the colour of the chain to bring it closer to the blade
  • - Expand the space inside the urethane case filling to make the model easier to take out

 We came up with a few new designs that combined previous models and new suggestions by the customer.

Grip panel roundness

 3. Extend the edge of the grip panel, and then make the cross section rounder to make it easier to hold

 The order was for just an extension of the bottom of the grip, but to make it easier to grip we made the overall design a bit more rounder.


Chain top

 4. Change the chain's lionhead, we removed the cross and made the chain shorter to fit the smaller head

 We also brought the colours closer to the other parts.

I've just received the gunblade.
Thank you so much for sending it to us.

Here's some of my thoughts, I'm sorry it's quite long.

When I opened the packaging, I screamed of joy just from the size of the case and the Griever insignia.
My hands wont stop shaking just when I'm trying to unlock the case.

When I managed to unlock the case and lifted off the lid, I thought I really was going to cry.
This is something I've dreamed of over 20 or so years. I just couldn't believe it was in front of my eyes, in just the way I imagined it to be.
With the shining blade and the matte coated grip looking just so cool and yet beautiful, I really was mesmerized.

After making the hard decision to take the model out of its case, and hold it with my two hands I was once again moved.
It was so easy to grip, and my fingers rest on the trigger as if it was meant to be there.
I can put it on my shoulders, even hold it straight up, and it just wouldnt stop looking amazing.
The griever chain that shakes just as I move the blade around adds another layer of reality.

I had a lot of specific things I wanted to be customised just for this model, and I'm so glad I asked Mr Yamamoto to make this model as it all worked out spectacularly.

To me this gunblade is a mark of my beginnings, and a symbol of a masterpiece that will forever be in my heart.
Being able to hold it with my own hands really was a dream for 20 years, and after making this order I finally learned that dreams are meant to be realised, not to be dreamt.

We had multiple meetings on how to improve upon the design, and even had our client give a few design patterns to us to go off.
The sheer enthuasm she had for this model really came through to us, and some of it even rubbed off on us and we found our meetings to be very enjoyable.

We only found out the age of our customer upon receiving this review, and knowing how much this gunblade would've meant to her during her childhood made us full of emotions as well.
We're so proud to be the ones that helped her realise her dreams.
